Meals at the Lodge
Hearty and delicious family style meals are prepared by your hosts. There's no better way to start the day than with hot, strong coffee, buttermilk pancakes and crispy bacon. For lunch, dig into your cooler and find turkey and ham sandwiches, apples, snacks, cookies and soft drinks. At the end of the day, we'll put our feet under the table and enjoy marinated steaks hot off the grill, or fresh salmon and crab if you catch it and want it for dinner. Noone goes away from the table hungry at our house.

Guests gather around the table for a meal. After dinner, feel free to settle in and share some stories about your day. If it's a cool evening, a crackling fire in the living room wood stove or in the deck fireplace will dispel the chill. If it's raining, we can sit on the porch and listen to the rain on the roof and watch the waves roll up on the beach. Settle in on the deck and relax after a hard day of fishing. Compare stories and talk tactics for the next day. There are no roads directly to the lodge. The people you rub shoulders with at the lodge are looking for the same things you are; peace and quiet, no crowds, and NO COMBAT FISHING!!! We're convinced that you'll be happy you put in the extra effort to get a bit further from the beaten track. Once you're here, you'll be convinced too. Several airlines provide regular service from airports in the Lower 48 to Ketchikan. Let us know when you'll be arriving in Ketchikan and we'll make arrangements for float plane transportation to Kasaan where we'll meet you with a boat and whisk you off to the lodge.
