Ice isn't available at the lodge, so your catch must be cold, frozen or smoked for transport to Ketchikan. We have a freezer and a smokehouse available for storage and processing, as well as a vacuum packer for sealing your catch. There are also shipping companies in Craig and Ketchikan where guests may arrange for their catch to be frozen or processed and shipped home.
Alternatively, we suggest you consider bringing your own hard sided cooler. Your catch will stay frozen longer in a cooler than a fish box in the event your flight home takes longer than anticipated.
Photos last longer than fillets, so keep your cameras close and take lots of photos of your Alaska trophies.
